Katherine & Luke | Brympton House
Katherine and Luke were married on a hot summer’s day at the stunning Brympton House in Somerset. Brympton is easily one of the prettiest wedding venues in the South West and one of my favourites to shoot at. It photographs beautifully at any time of year which is a huge positive for any venue, particularly in the UK where we can never tell what the weather will do on any given month. I really love that every part of the day takes place in a different location so the backdrop (and light) varies throughout. As a photographer I love that the constant movement keeps me on my toes and the house never fails to impress. Katherine and Luke were married at St Andrews Church which is actually on site just behind Castle House. I’ve never shot at the church so it was a first for me and I really enjoyed it. From there confetti was thrown at the South Terrace and canapes were enjoyed by Katherine and Lukes very international guests. Katherine is from The USA with German roots and Luke is English so I hate to imagine the air miles that were racked up for the day! Next we moved into The Great Hall and Library Bar before heading up for their wedding breakfast and speeches in The Ballroom upstairs. The day ended with drinks and toasted marshmallows at The Stables Bar and some very emotional dancing by the bride and groom and the bride and her father. Here’s some of my favourite photos from the day which I hope you enjoy!
Lovely set of photos!
